As I have written here and since I don't want to miss it on the big screen this time around, we reserved through sureseats.com using my BIL's account for the movie Eclipse last July 2, 6:10pm showing at Glorietta 4. See I missed watching the first 2 films before I got hooked with the books so I promised myself that I will catch Eclipse on the big screen.
I still like the book better really! I guess that always happens to books turned into movies type. With one exception I can relate to, The Lord of the Rings. And the movie is a bit dark. What I mean is that it's not crisp! There were funny moments that the moviegoers find amusing such as the dialogue of Jacob "I'm hotter than you!" woot! woot! He is, by the way but I am still a Team Edward teehee!
So, we'll be waiting for the said 2-part Breaking Dawn movie. I hope this is closer to the book as they will have more time...

whew! that was too fast....

A first in my 30 years that I was able to finish 4 books in 2 weeks time. Thanks to my office friend, Eloy who surprised me last week with the 4th installment of the twilight saga. It was her surprise, advanced birthday gift to me. Honestly, I was sooo thrilled! Am also happy that it's a "happily ever after" ending. Thanks so much Eloy, you wouldn't have guessed how you made my day!
Speaking of birthday, this is my month. Ooopps... and the last year that my age will still be in the calendar but I'm happy. Life has been very good to me I guess.

my 2010 addiction

... the twilight saga and I can't wait to get my hands on eclipse... imagine how hooked I am that I'm decided on naming our baby girl (if we will be blessed with a baby and a girl for that matter!) "Bella" short for Isabella. Well, the nickname should have been "Yzza" so it kind of rhymes with Enzo but "Bella" is sooo appealing now. Bella, after all mean's "God is my Oath" according to Babynames.com. I wonder if it's a boy, would hubby agree to naming it "Edward"... I doubt though as we are decided to naming him "Fonzy" short for Alfonso, meaning noble and ready.
... and Starbucks' Java Chip (twice blended) with chocolate powder on top is just sooo heavenly!Thursday, January 21, 2010
I'm hooked...
Since I'm probably the last person on earth to be reading this, I need not explain why I'm hooked. Hubby said the twilight saga is their birthday present for me... sweet! Can't wait to finish it and get started with eclipse before the movie is shown on theaters on June 30, 2010. I told hubby it's a date as I don't want to miss it on the big screen this time.Which am I?

TEAM... that would definitely be "Edward!"
So I guess that's where this Team got started ha... team Manny, team Jinkee, team Krista now to team Kris hihihi! I'm sooo outdated geez!
Jacob Black is not bad at all. His character seemed sweet and endearing. But Edward is much more fascinating to read. He is intriguing yet serene! Which is probably why Bella is unconditionally and irrevocably in love with Edward.

late bloomer!
My officemates saw me yesterday reading twilight (while in a workshop ssshh!) and they all remarked "You are a late bloomer!" hahaha!
But I finished it... and itching to get new moon NOW! I enjoyed the book sooo much it felt I was a teen again enjoying pocketbooks. Not that you compare it to a pocketbook but the "kilig" you feel while reading it gives you that impression.
And hubby and I are able to watch Avatar in 3D (our first time!) and it's cool pala to watch it in 3D hahaha!
Oh, I had my hair cut short na. I'll probably post my new do after we attend the wedding of hubby's cousin on Sunday. Hubby also bought me 2 blouses (one is white from Bayo which I have to wear at the wedding). The other is from Bossini which I fell in love at first sight so even if we bought one already, he just have to buy it for me. Anyway, he got one for himself too.
So I guess I've reached my quota of buying one clothing per month. I'll have to wait for March unless I see something that I couldn't really pass. And I think I'll exceed my quota of at least 2 books this year as I have my eye on new moon already... and eclipse... and breaking dawn... and there's Harry Potter. Though the Strabucks goal is no way near of accomplishing it this month hihihi! I lost count really.

I'm so into...
I'm almost finished with a few chapters left. I get to read this "only" on my way home from work so it took me awhile. But I'm loving it... sooo funny and engaging! Have you read the other Shopaholic series? Should I indulge and read all of them? Hmmm....It has been awhile since I last read a book, that one was the 6th installment of Harry Potter.
