Since I just celebrated my 30th birthday, it is but fitting to finish this tag from Joanne.

1. Good health for the family specially for Enzo. Given the financial crisis these days, "mahirap magkasakit!" slogan is sooo true.

2. Our job stability (both mine & hubby's).

3. A change in working environment. Maybe it's about time after almost 9 long years. What do you think?

4. More opportunity (and of course moolah!) to be able to travel.

5. House & Lot. Our goal is in the next 5 years!

6. Toyota Fortuner or Hyundai Sante Fe.

7. A designer bag, maybe?

8. A descent 2nd birthday party for the little boy.

9. To be a stay-at-home-mom/wife (SAHM).

10. Baby girl the next time around. Oh well not until I'm 32!

Spreading the Christmas Spirit

Got tagged by Jovie. Here’s something nice to go around to spread the spirit of Christmas as early as now. Starts here. It’s so simple. Your wish has to be something PRICELESS and SELF-LESS… something that money can’t buy… something that another person will treasure dearly.



1. Bits and Pieces by Jan: I wish Gino and I will be able to convince friends to help us sponsor a simple Christmas party for the children of White Cross Children’s Home in San Juan.
2. The Wifey Diaries by Jannesse : My birthday falls on the 22nd of December. I have always wished to spend it with orphaned or abandoned kids. I’d be super happy to spend my birthday with them. That way, they get early Christmas presents from me. Oh, and can I wish for a baby, too? Please?
3. The Versoza Inc. by Con: I’d like to have a simple Christmas party for all the children of our employees. Times were hard on our company this 2007, but still, the Christmas Spirit should not be overpowered by it. Christmas is about family. So our Christmas party should not be for employees only, but for their families as well. Also, I wish our clan would make it a tradition to have a Christmas gift giving project. My Tita Doi started it last year with the Antipolo church children. I am looking forward to this year.
4. Mommy On Top: I wish I could help a couple of kids (both are related to my kids’ nannies) finish their education so they can, in turn, help their family earn a living. I could try and help them find a job, but without finishing their studies, they can only go too far. With a diploma or at least some certificate of formal education, they could do so much and reach farther. I hope my efforts in hooking them up with this certain NGO will come out with favorable results.
5. Coffeenchoclate : We hope to sustain an extended help for a few elders and be able to increase aid to another few elders before the year ends.
6) My Yoga Mat by Christine: I wish that we would have a great Christmas in our new home (we'll be moving to Tarlac before the year ends). I also hope for my son to have a great birthday (this december also). And that I could be able to provide and help my husband ( I need a job!)
7). A Multiple's Choice by Jov: First of all, I wish my entire family good health and continued prosperity :) I also wish I can give out cool presents for my family, something they really want to receive. Second, Keith has been wanting to sponsor a Christmas party for an orphanage. I hope I can organize one in his name as a surprise gift for him. Third, I cant wait to have our annual family pic with Lori, my new pamangkin :)
8). Our Family Adventure! by Sheryll: I wish my family good health. I can't thank the Lord enough for always being there for my family. For always surprising us! I wish a safe delivery for my SIL who's due this December. We are hoping for a baby girl this time around.

The chore I hate the most would be ironing. Since I have not really done it... well, tried it once when I was way younger and that was it. But I can say I will survive without helpers or nannies if I am just a stay-at-home-mom/wife (SAHM). I do learn easily and I love managing my own home.

Wacky Weekend

Better late than never. Jhoanne tagged me last August 30, imagine!

Will we have a wacky weekend? Probably... since hubby & I are going to Divisoria tomorrow in preparation for Enzo's 1st birthday in October. We have been there a few times but it was way back 2006 when we were still preparing for our wedding. So this time is quite different. It will definitely be a crazy adventure... more stories and tips next week.

Thank God hubby said in-laws will pick us up after our Divisoria trip. I am anticipating a very tired mommy & daddy hahaha!

Oh, plus it's lil prince 11th month birthday on Sunday. I'll prepare spaghetti and hopefully, we can drop by Chocolat for his cake. Have I told you how much I love Chocolat cakes?! Yum! yum! yum!

1. How did you meet your husband/wife or boyfriend/girlfriend?
My first contact with hubby is through a chat room. Just so happen that he knows this girl who was my batchmate in college and the rest is history. Small world noh?

2. Where did you go on your first date?
Robinson's Galleria. We watched the movie "The Wedding Singer." Coincidence?!

3. When was your first intimate kiss?
Hahaha! Can't remember really. He kissed me (on the cheek) two months after we went steady. Our anniversary date is August 10, 1998.

4. How many girlfriends/boyfriends he/she had in the past? Do you honestly know?
I'm his first and last! :) He said so...

5. What is his/her ethnicity?
Pinoy by birth.

6. What is his/her favorite food?
Mechado or any tomato-based dishes.

7. What is he/she like if he/she is mad?
He stays quiet so I get mad because I want to know how he feels. :(

8. What are the things he/she did you thought is the most romantic thing he'd/she'd ever done?
He sent me 2 dozens of red roses on the eve of my 22nd (I think) birthday, the two extra roses, he said, are for my mom hihihi! But really, I find him being a "hands-on dad" romantic. At least he gives me what I call "my time."

9. Describe how he/you proposed to you.
We don't have a romantic proposal story since we sort of figure out in 2004 that we'll finally get married in 2 years. By 2005, we just decided to book a church hihihi! And we got married December 2006.

10. What is his term of endearment for you?
I like Joy's question so I'll keep it here. I go by Honey, Ney, Mommy and Honeybunch! :)

6. I don't like what I'm wearing today... grrr! have to buy new pants... ah it's a Midnight Sale today and tomorrow! but I'm trying (really trying) to save... huhuhu :(
